STSH Drinks Bovril


In the same isle of my local supermarket where I found the wonderfully delicious Heinz Leek & Potato Soup I found a little jar of something called Bovril. It looked like a jar of some old fashioned product you would use to shave with, and all it really said on the jar that suggested what sort of food it was was the tagline that it was “suitable for vegetarians” and that it was a “yeast extract drink” that “warmed and satisfied”.

Deliberately doing no further research, I prepared a mug and recorded my experience for your amusement.



I hope you enjoyed this video much more than I enjoyed Bovril.

Sorry Bovril drinkers, I'm just too American for this stuff, or perhaps too vegetarian for a beef flavored hot drink.
